On the morning of May 17, 2019, Xue Bing, Chief Engineer of Beijing Geolight Company, was invited to give an academic report entitled Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Technology in Measuring Instruments at the School of Electronic Science and Control Engineering, Institute of Disaster Prevention. Faculty members, undergraduates and postgraduate students majoring in Measurement, Control Technology and Instrument attended the lecture.
During the report, starting from analog-to-digital conversion technology, Mr. Xue introduced anti-aliasing filtering in data acquisition and data processing methods for sampling rate conversion. He elaborated on data acquisition for seismic observation and time-synchronized data acquisition, as well as sine signal measurement technology and approaches to satisfy relevant technical specifications.
After the lecture, Mr. Xue answered technical questions raised by teachers and students in detail. The report broadened academic horizons and helped participants deepen their understanding of core technologies of measuring instruments.
