To thoroughly study and understand General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on disaster prevention, mitigation, relief and popular science, vigorously promote the great spirit of earthquake relief, and raise public awareness of earthquake preparedness and disaster reduction, the Exhibition of Applied Technology Achievements for Disaster Prevention, Mitigation and Relief together with the Product Exhibition of Tangshan Emergency Industry Conference was grandly held at Nanhu International Convention and Exhibition Center, Tangshan City, Hebei Province from July 27 to 29, 2021. Guided by China Earthquake Administration under the Ministry of Emergency Management and the China Association for Science and Technology, the event was sponsored by the China Association for Disaster Prevention and Hebei Earthquake Agency, and co-organized by the People’s Government of Tangshan, Beijing Earthquake Agency, Shenzhen Research Institute of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Technology, Development Research Center of China Earthquake Administration and Youyan Think Tank Co., Ltd. Over the three-day exhibition, officials from relevant central ministries, local governments, research institutes, enterprises and institutions gathered at the venue. Beijing Geolight Technology Co., Ltd. took part in the exhibition.
The company showcased a series of newly developed seismic observation instruments featuring broadband, wide dynamic range, high resolution and high sensitivity. Their application scenarios cover seismic observation, earthquake early warning, active layer monitoring, national security, petroleum exploration, fracture monitoring, geological survey, dam monitoring, reservoir monitoring, seabed monitoring, coal mine monitoring, railway early warning and structural monitoring. The product portfolio forms a three-dimensional and multi-dimensional seismic observation system ranging from passive natural seismic observation to active artificial seismic observation, and from surface observation, deep-well observation on land to marine observation.

During the exhibition, Xu Qin, Deputy Secretary of Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Governor; Min Yiren, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Emergency Management, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of China Earthquake Administration; Academician Chen Yong, geophysicist from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other leaders and experts visited our booth for inspection and guidance. Meanwhile, our exhibitors gave detailed introductions to the displayed equipment to visiting leaders, experts, new and existing customers and industry peers. In-depth exchanges were carried out, and feedback and suggestions were collected to facilitate the high-quality development of the company’s instruments.
