Product Overview
The GL-OBS60-F2 Deep-Sea Broadband Ocean Bottom Seismometer is a new type of ocean bottom seismometer specially designed for deep-sea applications, capable of operating at water depths up to 6,000 meters. It mainly consists of a seismometer, battery compartment, hydrophone and data transmission unit. Adopting a modular design, each component can be disassembled independently to facilitate subsequent inspection and maintenance. The core seismometer features low power consumption and supports standard network protocols for convenient data storage and management. It is equipped with a built-in high-capacity storage device for dual data backup. An integrated high-precision north-seeking device enables accurate azimuth positioning of the seismometer, immune to metal and magnetic field interference.
The GL-OBS60-F2 is mainly applied to ocean bottom seismic monitoring, marine disaster prevention, marine information security assurance, submarine oil and gas exploration, and submarine engineering geological environment monitoring.
