Product Overview
The GL-P2C Intensity Meter adopts high-sensitivity 3-component MEMS accelerometers and embeds the Linux operating system. Equipped with a LAN network interface, it supports networking with an external 4G wireless router and network time synchronization. The GL-P2C features automatic seismic event detection, seismic intensity calculation, and automatic estimation of parameters such as τc and Pd. It can output continuous waveform data, and automatically disseminate seismic trigger messages, intensity information and instrument status information via network or SMS.
The GL-P2C is mainly applied to free-field strong motion observation, artificial blasting observation, strong vibration observation and structural health monitoring of buildings and structures, vibration monitoring of dams, bridges, stations, tunnels and other facilities, emergency mobile seismic observation, earthquake early warning, landslide and rockfall monitoring, construction of seismic intensity rapid reporting and earthquake early warning networks, preventive conservation of cultural relics and environmental monitoring systems for cultural heritage facilities, seismic scientific investigation, and site seismic safety evaluation.
