Product Overview
The GZ-GN4 Four-Component Seismic Intensity Meter is equipped with sensors providing three-component MEMS acceleration output and one-component short-period velocity output, adopting electromagnetic transduction and force-balance feedback structure. It supports calibration with pulse, sine wave and pseudo-random code signals. External GNSS timing is available together with NTP timing service. In terms of data management, the instrument supports internal storage configuration, seismic event recording mode setting, selection of seismic intensity calculation algorithms, manual system time adjustment, network server configuration, internal system status monitoring and remote device activation.
The GZ-GN4 is mainly applied to free-field strong motion observation, structural observation of buildings, artificial blasting observation, seismic monitoring for local areas, reservoirs, coal mines and oil fields, vibration monitoring of dams, large bridges, stations, tunnels and other facilities, as well as the construction of earthquake early warning systems.
