Product Overview
The GL-PH2 shallow-well short-period seismometer is designed for downhole seismic observation. Its installation accessories include positioning base, guide, centralizer and cable strain relief. The three-component mechanical pendulum and feedback circuit are installed inside a sealed cylinder. The bottom of the sealed cylinder is connected with the guide, and the upper part is connected with the centralizer and cable strain relief. During installation, fix the base in the well first, and determine the orientation of the well base with a gyroscope. Then rotate the guide on the sealed cylinder to align the orientation of the three-component seismometer with geographic coordinates when the cylinder settles onto the base.
It is mainly applied to natural earthquake observation of national seismic networks, seismic stations and regional seismic networks, reservoir-induced earthquake monitoring, mine seismic monitoring and long-term fixed seismic observation.
